WELCOME TO THE Nordschleife RACING SERIES 2024 SEASON 1!

Quick races on Assetto Corsa every 4 hours. Always at Nordschleife but every week with a new car! This week it's going to be music to the ears as you will listen to the Italian muscle Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4.

RACING LICENSE

FIXED CAR SETUP

  • A fixed car setup guarantees equal possibilities.
  • You can adjust brake bias.
  • The car has no ABS or TC so be careful on the brakes and on the power.
  • The setup is adjusted to suit the track.

SERIES CONCEPT

  • Events start every 4 hours.
  • Continuously looping free practice server 24/7.
  • Free practice is the qualifying.
  • The race starts 4 min after the server starts, so join as soon as you can.
  • 3 lap race.
  • Total event duration is about 29 minutes.
  • A new round with a new car starts every week.
  • Cars get progressively faster during the series.
  • 3 best race results from each week count in the overall series standings.

Free practice is the qualifying

  • This saves a lot of time during the event because two laps for qualifying here take so long.
  • When you join the race server you go straight to race, the grid is ordered based on the free practice fastest lap times.
  • Drivers have to set a lap in the free practice server before each event to qualify. Otherwise, they will start last.

DRIVER ACCOUNTABILITY

  • We want the drivers to race clean so everyone can have a great experience.
  • Drivers can submit a post race driver report.
  • To submit a driver report go to the result page of the race and click on the Driver report button.
  • Penalties can range from a 5s time penalty to a ban from WSS.

FIRST TIME RACING IN WSS?

  • There are a few things to do one time before you can enjoy Assetto Corsa to the fullest.
  • Download and install WSS app.
  • Download and install Content Manager. A must-have to enable all the moded features of Assetto Corsa.
  • Download and install Custom Shaders Patch (CSP). It can make Assetto Corsa look like a brand-new game. Also enables night races.
  • Download and install Real Penalty. It Improves the Assetto Corsa automatic penalty system.
  • Enable Real Penalty in Content Manager.
  • When you have all this done WSS app will take care of the car, track, and skin download and install when joining a server via WSS.
  • Read the rules so you race clean and get along with other drivers in the WSS community.

PRIZES

  • Top 3 drivers in overall standings will be awarded with WSS monthly premium subscriptions and virtual trophies displayed in the driver profile.
  • A new racing season starts every quarter so there are 4 chances per year to win the prizes.


notes from your race engineer

This car rewards smooth driving and quick reactions when it starts to slide. This is mini prototype, to go fast you need to be like on rails. The cars weight very little, has plenty of downforce and great brakes. So it can stop very quickly in a straight line but be careful when trail braking, you need very little brake input. It has no ABS or TC. I recommend using 62% brake bias, you really don't want to lock the rears while trail braking.
