Welcome to a series of practice races for the aurum 1006km e-sports

Best way to practice for the race is to get into a mindset of a race.

You will also practice long pits or drivers swaps in this race.

about the series

  • Assetto Corsa multiclass races
  • Races every 4h.
  • About 1 hour long (53 laps).
  • Rookie minimum required license.
  • Teams of 1-2 drivers.
  • Can race from the same rig (WSS account).
  • Free practice servers are running 24/7 before the race.
  • Free practice server and race is with fixed conditions.
  • Standing start.
  • All skins and track mods will be automatically downloaded and installed by the WSS app.

registration requirements

  • You need a Rookie or higher drivers license to race in this event.
  • You need to complete 5 valid laps in the pre-q server once and then you can race for the rest of the week. No laps required for Premium users.

freE PRACTICE / PRE-QUALIFICATION

  • When registered you can join the free practice server any time before the event. It's running 24/7.
  • Lap times in free practice will count as a Pre-qualification round.
  • Divisions will be ordered by Pre-Q results of the teams average fastest lap.
  • Custom skins are not visible inside the free practice. 

cars BoP

  • Balance of performance (BoP) is used to make cars equal pace over their race stint.
  • For GT3 cars testing was done using Medium compound tires with the same track conditions.
  • Lamborghini GT3 is about 0.1s faster because it's harder to maintain consistent pace compared to other cars due to a large turning radius, but it's the fastest car in the straights.
  • The secret to win here is not to crash, manage traffic well, and keep a reasonable pace. Choose the car you enjoy driving and can be consistent with.

Car setups

  • Fixed setup for GT4 class. You can only adjust tire pressure (optimal 26-27psi), TC, brake bias, fuel.
  • For other cars you can download setups made by our race engineer.
  • You need to place the downloaded .ini file in this folder (for Huracan GT3 as example) ...\Documents\Assetto corsa\setups\ks_lamborghini_huracan_gt3\palanga

qualifying

  • Normal 15min qualifying
  • All cars can be on track at the same time

Penalties

  • After 14 incident points, Real Penalty will issue a drive through penalty.
  • Remember that you can not make a pitstop while serving a drive through penalty.

ENDURANCE USING ONE ACCOUNT

It’s enough to have one WSS account per team to participate in the race. IT IS NOT mandatory to have at least 2 drivers in a team!

All the teams in the race will have to make 2 (two) Long Pitstops, which will take 3 minutes each. It doesn’t matter if you do a driver swap during the Long Pitstop or not. However, you need to represent a team to participate in this event, even if you will race using one account. Find a team or create a team here.

ENDURANCE USING MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS

It is also possible for a team to race from different WSS accounts. You will need to make a minimum 2 (two) Long Pitstops or do the driver swaps. To race with your team members you need to join or create a team. A maximum of 2 drivers in one team are allowed.
