WELCOME TO THE RINGFREAKS MAZDA CUP 2026 SEASON 2!

1h sprint race on Assetto Corsa every Wednesday evening with the one and only Mazda MX5 Cup! 1h sprint race with a pit stop, where tactics will play a role. To register for the race, 5 valid laps in the free practice are required, unless you are a WSS Premium user.

Compete to win great prizes from Ringfreaks to drive their cars at the real Nordschleife - Tourist!

RACING LICENSE

• AM or higher racing license is required. If you don't have an AM racing license here is how to get it.

SERIES CONCEPT

• Single event per round every Wednesday.
• Continuously looping free practice server 24/7.
• Divisions are ordered based on the WSS Racing License, if they are the same, then based on pace rating.
• Fixed setup, only the driver and the strategy matters.
• 15 min qualifying.
• 1h race.
• Mandatory pitstop with at least 1L of fuel added and/or tire change.
• Total event duration is about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
• New track every week.
• Mostly the same circuits as in Conspit MX5 Cup.
• 11 best out of 12 weeks count towards the overall standings.
• 12th round at Nordschleife - Endurance provides double the points and will act as a tie breaker if needed.

DRIVER ACCOUNTABILITY

• Drivers should race clean so everyone can have a great experience.
• Drivers can submit a post-race driver report.
• To submit a driver report go to the result page of the race and click on the Driver report button.
• Penalties can range from a 5/10/20/30s time penalty to a ban from WSS.

FIRST TIME RACING IN WSS?

• There are a few things to do one time before you can enjoy Assetto Corsa to the fullest.
• Download and install WSS app.
• Download and install Content Manager. A must-have to enable all the moded features of Assetto Corsa.
• Download and install Custom Shaders Patch (CSP). It can make Assetto Corsa look like a brand-new game. Also enables night races.
• Download and install Real Penalty. It improves the Assetto Corsa automatic penalty system.
• Enable Real Penalty in Content Manager.
• When you have all this done WSS app will take care of the car, track, and skin download and install when joining a server via WSS.
• Read the rules so you race clean and get along with other drivers in the WSS community.

The vouchers are for Ringfreaks race car rental in the world famous race track Nürburgring. Specifically to drive Ringfreaks prepped car in the Nordschleife Tourist session. The vouchers are for individual drivers and can not be transferred to other people. You can choose which car you want to rent with the voucher value you got.
