UEC - Ultimate Endurance Challenge

Welcome to the Ultimate Endurance Challenge (UEC), the definitive multiclass championship for Assetto Corsa. The UEC was forged for those who find standard sprint racing too brief and predictable. This is a high-stakes, multi-round odyssey that demands a perfect blend of raw speed, tactical pit strategy, and elite traffic management. Across a grueling season of varying lengths and conditions, only the most disciplined drivers and teams will claim the ultimate title.

The Grid: Three Tiers of Excellence

The UEC field is divided into three distinct classes, each offering a unique challenge and requiring a specific mindset:

  • Hypercar (HY): The pinnacle of modern racing technology. Featuring the 2023 Cadillac V-Series.R [Dallara], these machines represent the cutting edge of hybrid prototype engineering. Powered by a thunderous 5.5-liter V8 and weighing 1080kg, these cars produce massive downforce. They are the fastest machines on the grid, responsible for carving through traffic with surgical precision.

  • LMP2: The backbone of global endurance racing. Utilizing the legendary 2022 Oreca 07 LMP2, powered by the Gibson GK-428 V8 engine. These 950kg prototypes offer incredible agility and cornering speeds that rival the Hypercars in technical sections. They serve as the high-speed middle ground of the pack.

  • GT3: The most diverse and commercially relevant class. This field features a world-class roster including the Ferrari 296 GT3, Porsche 992 GT3 R, Lamborghini Huracán Evo II, BMW M4 GT3, and the brand new Aston Martin Vantage Evo 2024. While they have the lowest top speeds, the wheel-to-wheel battles are the most intense.

The Global Calendar: From Sprints to Marathons

The season is structured to test your versatility across the world’s most iconic layouts:

  1. Round 1: 4 Hours of Paul Ricard (France) – The Grand Opener. High aero demand and the massive Mistral straight.
  2. Round 2: 2 Hours of Fuji (Japan) – A high-intensity sprint with a massive main straight. (Track choice can still be voted on discord)
  3. Round 3: 2 Hours of Dubai (UAE) – Night racing in the desert under floodlights.
  4. Round 4: 3 Hours of Virginia (USA) – Narrow, grass-lined, and extremely punishing.
  5. Round 5: 6 Hours of Long Beach (USA) – Street racing marathon. Concrete walls leave zero margin for error.
  6. Round 6: 12 Hours of Le Mans (France) – The Grand Finale at the Circuit de la Sarthe.

Strict Sporting RegulationsRacing Class Lock

To maintain the integrity of the championship standings, drivers and teams are locked into the class they choose for the first round. If you start the season in a GT3, you must finish the season in a GT3. Changing classes mid-season is strictly prohibited.

Mandatory Long Pitstops / Driver Swaps

To accommodate team efforts and ensure fair play for players with varying hardware performance:

  • Round 1 Requirement: Every car must complete 3 Mandatory Long Pitstops.
  • Minimum Duration: Each pitstop must last a minimum of 180 seconds in the pitlane. This ensures players with slower PCs have ample time to load and stabilize without being at a disadvantage.
  • The Penalty: If a car exits the pitlane before the 180-second timer expires, a 120-second post-race time penalty will be applied.

License Requirements

  • HY & LMP2: Open to AM, PRO-AM, PRO, and ALIEN licenses.
  • GT3: Open to all, from Rookie to ALIEN.

Multiclass Etiquette: The Code of the Track

  • Prototypes (HY & LMP2): The responsibility for a safe overtake lies primarily with the faster car. You must be decisive. Do not "dive-bomb" from a distance that forces a slower car into evasive action.

  • GT3 Class: Hold your racing line. Do not attempt to "move out of the way" by switching sides on a straight. Staying on the racing line allows prototypes to predict your path and pass safely.

  • Blue Flags: Do not fight for the position, but do not sacrifice your race by braking on the racing line. Maintain your pace and let the faster car do the work.

Technical Setup & Realism

  • Tyre Wear (200%): Tires will degrade at double the standard rate.
  • Track Evolution: Surface starts "Green" at 92% grip and evolves dynamically.
  • Real Penalty System: Active for all track limit and pit lane infringements.
  • Weather: Real Conditions will NOT be enabled, the track temps will stay the same all race
