LMP2 and GT3 Sprint Series

This series mimics and extends the WEC calendar and include two classes of car: LMP2 & GT3. The races are in a sprint format, with a 15 minute qualifying session followed by a 45 minute race session. There will be special endurance events throughout the year but points will only be scored for participation in sprint races, endurance events are not mandatory.

All are welcome - experienced or new, we hope that there will be a level of challenge suitable for everyone in this league.

RULES:

Normal racing rules apply, with the added note that the slower class of car should keep to the racing line when being passed, LMP2 cars should move off of the line in order to lap GT3 cars - this does not mean that GT3 cars should block/defend or otherwise race the LMP2 cars. Once the faster car is alongside, the slower car must leave sufficient space for them to pass safely. GT3 cars have their own race going on and lapping LMP2 cars should remember this fact.

Clean racing is more important than quick racing - "All the time you have to leave the space". Incident reports will all be taken seriously but arguments/flame will not help the situation - try to remain calm, no matter what happens. Good luck and have fun!
